Here at Woking, our adolescent intensive care unit accepts admissions from all over the UK with a view to discharging service users back to their local area as soon as they are ready. We provide support every step of the way, supported by a dedicated, multidisciplinary team, including a unique education programme to ensure their studies are as uninterrupted as possible. The hospital is also home to low secure facilities for men and women, with a whole range of therapies and services on offer to treat service users with mental health issues and related problems such as self-harm, substance misuse, anger and behaviour management.

A unique opportunity for the Clinical Manager role has become available. The post holder will take responsibility for the day to day overview and steer of the clinical service; ensuring delivery of an optimum level of clinical and therapeutic care and consistency in compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards  and KPIs. You would provide the leadership and direction for contemporary initiatives to drive and embed effective clinical practice.

Essential and preferred skills / experience:

Clinical qualification
Proven team management capability
Ability to maximise potential within self and others
Team player – though capable of working on own initiativeClinical knowledge and quality standards to support and develop the services offered
Organisation and planning skillsExcellent interpersonal and effective communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written and including presentation skills – listening, understanding and responding appropriately to identify key facts
