Iffy, Ife and Ike have been working with a new resident at Gotts Park and supporting him to settle in and they have done a fantastic job, creating a positive routine for him and the resident trusts the staff more each day. I would like to thank, Brandon as he and I had recently supported an individual on a visit to meet his mum. Brandon ensured our resident had everything he needed and shown a great level of support. Brandon started working at Thornfield in November last year and is doing very well in learning and completing his job role to a high standard.

Pam has been working hard with her key person and empowering him to learn how to read. Pam has been spending time with him every time she is on shift to learn letters to read for an upcoming appointment. This individual has learnt how to read a few letters and has been empowered to take control of his own appointment.
As part of the international women’s event that was facilitated at the Beeches, Denice came into work at 6am to make breakfast for the night staff and day staff team. The breakfast consisted of bacon cobs, pastries, fruit and fruit juices. Denice also made cupcakes for both the staff and residents at the Beeches as part of the celebration event.
